Support & Help

VPNRJ Help Center

Find answers about accounts, connections, routes and billing. First identify where the issue occurs, then check one thing at a time to avoid unnecessary reinstalls or duplicate payments.

Manage your account and orders in the user panel. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your password and full subscription link.

Account & Subscriptions

From safeguarding account details and finding your subscription to cleaning up configurations after switching devices.

Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I store my account details?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Use a unique password and store your login details in a trusted password manager rather than relying only on your browser’s autofill. Treat your subscription link as sensitive account information; don’t post it in public groups, forums or online troubleshooting tools. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your password, subscription link and sensitive payment details. If you’ve forgotten your login details, check the help section in your user panel for next steps. Never give your full credentials to someone you don’t trust.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my app?

Sign in to the user panel and find your current subscription in the account overview or subscription section, then import it as directed by your app. If you’ve already imported it, open the app’s subscription or configuration manager, select the existing entry and update it instead of adding the same configuration again. After the update, make sure the active configuration is still the one for VPNRJ and that the route list appears as expected. If the update fails, check your plan status, local connection and whether you copied the full link. Button names vary by app.

Do I need a different plan to switch devices or share with family?

VPNRJ has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so switching devices alone doesn’t mean you need a different plan. VPNRJ supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Install a client on each device you want to use, then import your account subscription. When sharing across devices, keep an eye on your remaining data: unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. Keep your subscription private within your household, and remove the configuration from old devices you no longer use to reduce the risk of your subscription details being exposed.

Where can I download the client? How is the iOS download different?

Download clients from the Downloads section of the user panel. Sign in to access the downloads and your subscription. Client downloads for Windows, macOS, Android and Linux are available after you sign in. Access to the iOS client depends on the active-plan requirements shown in the panel; check what’s available for your account. Downloading the client and importing your subscription are separate steps. After installation, import your own account subscription and enable its configuration. Don’t install files forwarded from unverified sources or use another person’s configuration as your own subscription.

What should I do if I shared my subscription link by mistake or no longer use an old device?

Stop sharing the link and remove any copies you can from public locations. If the panel offers a subscription reset or update option, follow its instructions, then update the configuration on any devices you still use. If you can’t find that option, open a support ticket explaining that your subscription may have been exposed so the support team can advise on next steps. Changing your account password alone does not necessarily deactivate every old subscription. Before handing an old device to someone else, remove its subscription and configuration from the client, and delete any notes or files where you saved the link.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check your local connection first, then work out whether the issue is with your subscription, client or target app.

The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

Disconnect the client and check that your local connection can reach commonly used websites. Reconnect, then make sure the correct configuration and route are enabled. Try several websites to see whether all access is failing or just one service. If the issue is limited to your browser, close and reopen the page, and check whether a browser extension has its own proxy settings. Change one setting at a time and note the result. Changing routes, rules and system network settings all at once makes it hard to identify what helped.

Why can’t an app connect when websites work in my browser?

Apps may connect to the internet differently. Routing rules in your client, the app’s own proxy settings and system permissions can all affect its connection. First check that the app isn’t excluded from proxy routing, then make sure the client has the network permissions required by your system. After changing settings, fully close and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an existing connection. Comparing the service’s website with its app can help distinguish an app configuration issue from a service-side problem. A website loading in your browser doesn’t mean every app uses the same route.

What should I do if a subscription update fails or the route list is empty?

Check your plan status and remaining data in the user panel. Then confirm the subscription belongs to your account and that you copied the entire link. If your local connection is working, try updating the subscription again in the client and note whether the error involves connectivity, content parsing or permissions. Don’t delete your only working configuration. Keep the original entry until you’ve confirmed the new one imported successfully, then remove any duplicates. If the update still fails, submit the client name, system details and a redacted error message in a support ticket. There’s no need to include your full subscription link.

Do I need to reinstall the client after switching Wi-Fi or waking my device from sleep?

Usually, try disconnecting and reconnecting first; reinstalling doesn’t need to be your first step. After a network change or sleep, the existing connection may have dropped even if the interface hasn’t refreshed yet. Check that your current connection works, the client is still running and the selected configuration hasn’t changed. On mobile devices, check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity. Consider updating the client as directed in the panel only if the issue persists after checking the configuration and permissions. Save your account details first so you can still access your subscription if you uninstall the app.

What details should I include in a support ticket about a connection issue?

Tell us your platform, client name, network environment, selected route and what you were doing when the issue occurred. Describe exactly what happened—for example, a subscription update failed, no websites worked after connecting, or one app couldn’t connect—and list the steps you’ve already tried. Include the original error message if possible. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your account credentials, full subscription link and sensitive payment details. Submit the ticket through the user panel and add follow-up details to the same ticket so the conversation stays together and the issue is easier to track.

Speed & Routes

Choose routes based on how your apps perform, not on a single status number.

How can I troubleshoot buffering during peak hours or choppy video calls?

Pause bandwidth-heavy tasks on your devices, such as downloads and cloud sync, and check your Wi-Fi signal and home network for congestion. Then try other routes in the same app under similar conditions and see whether the buffering changes. If only one video platform is affected, check whether the platform or the specific content is having problems. Avoid rapidly switching routes and judging by a momentary impression; note when buffering occurs and which route you’re using. Peak-time performance depends on your local network, your provider’s routing and the destination service—not just the number of available routes.

Which routes does VPNRJ offer, and how do I choose a location?

VPNRJ covers 120+ countries / 220+ routes. Check the route list and your account panel for current availability. Start with the location required by the service you want to use, then compare connection performance on your current network. If there’s no location requirement, try a nearby location first, but remember that geographic distance doesn’t determine the actual network path. Consider route labels, the app you plan to use and your experience after connecting—not just the route name. If you regularly use a service in the same location, also check its account-region settings and rules to avoid triggering extra verification by changing your exit location frequently.

Does low latency mean faster downloads and smoother video?

Latency measures how quickly a connection responds. It doesn’t show how well it can sustain data transfers or replace testing with the apps you actually use. Download speeds also depend on the destination server, route congestion, your local bandwidth and your device. Video playback depends on the platform, quality settings and buffering as well. Test routes with the apps you plan to use regularly instead of comparing status numbers alone. Websites, video calls and large file transfers have different performance needs; a route that loads pages quickly may perform differently during a sustained transfer.

A streaming service or AI tool says my region isn’t supported. Will changing routes fix it?

Not necessarily. Third-party services may consider your exit location, account region, subscription eligibility and their own risk controls. Changing routes affects only some of those network factors. Read the service’s message, confirm your account is eligible, choose a suitable location and reopen the app to check again. If you can sign in but a particular feature isn’t available, it may not yet be enabled for your account. VPNRJ’s route coverage does not guarantee ongoing availability with every third-party service. Avoid repeatedly changing account details or switching locations while troubleshooting.

Can route labels like direct, relay and dedicated tell me how stable a connection will be?

These labels mainly describe how routes are organized. They aren’t a guarantee of stability, and they don’t mean every VPNRJ route uses the same network topology. A direct route describes the path from your local network to the exit location; a relay adds an intermediate hop, while a dedicated route uses a different arrangement of network resources. Actual performance still depends on path quality, congestion and the destination service. Use the labels shown in the panel, then compare routes in the apps you use. For more on choosing protocols and routes, see our route and protocol guide. You don’t need to rewrite complex configurations for everyday use.

Billing & Refunds

Check the price, data reset schedule and order status before taking the next step.

How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Choose a plan based on how you use your devices: video, file transfers and cloud sync use data differently from everyday browsing. Unlimited devices refers to the number of devices that can be connected at once, not unlimited data. Check your plan, remaining data and current status in the panel. Resets don’t all happen on the first day of the calendar month, so don’t infer your status from your payment date alone.

What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan? Do data packs expire?

Data packs cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until the data is used and never expire. Monthly-plan data resets each month on your activation date. The main difference is how data is used and reset, so choose based on how often you use the service and how much data you need—not just the upfront price. If you use the service occasionally, a data pack’s no-expiration feature may suit you; for regular use, compare the monthly plan allowances. If you already have a plan and want to switch, check the plan details in your panel. Whether plans can be combined and how data is deducted depends on the options shown during the change.

What happens to the price difference if I upgrade my plan partway through?

When you upgrade partway through a plan, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before making a change, check your current plan status in the user panel, then review the target plan and the result shown on the order confirmation page. Don’t estimate the amount due based on the difference in data allowances. The page reflects your account’s current status and is more reliable than a manual estimate. If you’re unsure how the conversion works, ask through a support ticket before proceeding. An upgrade doesn’t automatically add extra time, and you shouldn’t assume your existing data will be combined with the new plan’s allowance.

Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan doesn’t update after payment?

VPNRJ supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Start payment from the plan and order flow in the user panel, and follow the instructions shown there. If your plan status hasn’t changed after payment, check the order status and payment result before trying again; the interface may not have updated yet. You can also reopen the panel to confirm your account status. If the issue persists, submit a support ticket with your order ID, payment method and a redacted payment receipt, and describe what happened. Don’t pay using payment details forwarded by someone you don’t know, and never share your password or full subscription link to verify a payment.

How long is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?

VPNRJ offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket explaining that you’d like a refund, along with the order ID needed for verification. See the refund section of the Terms of Service for the applicable terms. If you’re also having connection issues, you can describe them, but troubleshooting details don’t replace a refund request. The support team will need to verify your order and account, so follow up in the same ticket. Refund progress depends on the actual response; no processing time is guaranteed. Please don’t submit the same request more than once.
